Revivals run on prayer and there is no better way to learn
how to pray than to pray. Revival prayers cover the present
condition of the world and the church, and call for changes in the church so
that it is again influential in the world as salt & light.
Revivals run on prayer and there is no better
way to learn how to pray than to pray. Revival prayers cover
the present condition of the world and the church and call
for changes in the church so that it is again influential in
the world as salt and light. Our prayers address, in part, the things we are asking to see revived in us. In other
words we are praying the results. And that a mighty revival
will spread through out the church.
The coming of the Lord in a revival has
preparatory phases. Prayer is fundamental as an ongoing
element of revival. But some attention to the Lord impacting
the community is needed. We are being led by the Holy Spirit
to reach out in compassion to the community by offering
prayer to all who wish. Even if people don’t reply with a
request for us to pray, we still do damage to the spiritual
realm with our prophetic acts. This is a form of binding and
loosing.
We are already praying for the community to be loosed of all
privacy and isolation and anything that would keep them
locked up and unable to receive what God wants to give them.
We are binding the powers of evil and binding into society
the blessings of heaven. People can be bound with good
things and not just bad. They can be loosed from evil and
good can be loosed to them. It is all in the way we exert
our power in prayer and other prophetic acts. This then is
exercising the keys of the kingdom.
