The Fellowship of Life Church was founded by Greg Manalli, its Senior Pastor, in May of 1980. The vision and direction of the church has been incorporated within its name -- Fellowship of Life. The thrust of the church has been to bring people into a deeper fellowship with Jesus Christ and with one another, and to enjoy an abundant life full of the joy and purposes that God has for every individual.

In its early years, the church met in various places in Cheshire. As the church went through its growth stages, it was located in the surrounding communities of Southington and Wallingford before moving to its present location in 1985. With each move have come new opportunities and new challenges. All have worked to strengthen our character as a church and prepare us for the work the Lord has for us.
 

The Fellowship of Life is not only a local congregation in Cheshire, but also has a regional sphere of influence. Congregants come from all over Central Connecticut and beyond. In addition to our regular Sunday morning service and Wednesday evening prayer/worship meeting, we have a number of house churches which meet throughout Central Connecticut on a flexible schedule to maintain the direction and flow of the Holy Spirit's leading. These house church meetings give the believer opportunities to grow spiritually with one another and to learn to care for and intimately walk with members of the Body of Christ for their mutual well-being. In this way, Christ is brought to our neighborhoods and communities to touch people with God's love and purposes.

Fellowship of Life is contemporary in its style of worship, charismatic in ministry of the Holy Spirit, and fundamentally biblical.

Greg Manalli is the Senior Pastor and founder of the Fellowship of Life Church located in Cheshire, Connecticut. Prior to full-time ministry, Greg was an insurance executive and later owned his own successful business. He and Andrea live in Cheshire and have been married for over 40 years. They have two sons -- Jason and Luke, both of whom have graduated from college, are married, and are leading successful lives of their own.

Greg is first and foremost an Apostle, and oversees an anointed apostolic ministry called Ephesians Ministries International, an Apostolic Team taking its identity from Ephesians 4:11-16.  He has had an apostolic call upon his life for many years and it is his desire to see the Church built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, and that it come to know and experience the very fullness of Christ.

Fellowship of Life Church falls under this apostolic umbrella. Greg is a gifted church builder and is anointed in teaching, pastoring and the prophetic. His spheres of ministry are regional, national and international. His apostolic ministry to leaders and churches is multi-faceted and includes assisting them in strengthening church foundations and local church government, raising up the 5-fold ministry, and unifying and strengthening gift ministries. With the present outpouring of the Holy Spirit, he is being used to bring bodies into a deeper and more intimate fellowship with the Father and with each other, as well as enabling them to flow more freely with the Holy Spirit. Greg especially desires to see the character and call of the Church be in harmony and unity with God.

A Kingdom Manifesto

The message of Jesus was the Kingdom of Heaven had come.  It was an intervention of the reign of God in the earth, manifest in the Person of Jesus who both preached and demonstrated this truth.  This reign is now here although temporarily in an incomplete state.  The presence of the future is being lived by men and women who have been born of the Spirit of God and through understanding of the Scriptures have entered into a new life and destiny.  Every man, woman and child can experience the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven in a life free from the bondage of sin, the influence of Satan, and the culture of a man-centered world and enjoy life in fellowship with our God.

Jesus Christ made manifest the Kingdom of Heaven in His teachings and displays of power.  He healed the sick, raised the dead and delivered people of demons proving His superiority over Satan.  He did miracles showing that the Creator was infinitely more powerful than creation.  He explained and illustrated a life of righteousness that was possible for all men.  He lived a sinless life and in perfect obedience to the will of His Father.  He shed His blood for atonement for our sins freeing all men from the debt they owed to God.  He died to pay our penalty and was raised to justify us. 

He promised He would build His church which is the assembly of people called out of the world who now constitute the society of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.  To empower this people He sent back the Holy Spirit who now takes on the same ministry of Christ the Comforter, Counselor, Teacher and Empowering Presence within us.  Holy Spirit now is distributing to all the church, gifts of supernatural origin and enablement to carry on the work of Jesus Christ both within the church and to the world.

As the Father sent Jesus, so is the church sent with the same mission and ministry.  It is the privilege and right for every member of the Kingdom of Heaven to extend the same message of the Kingdom to individuals of all nations and tongues throughout the world.  Everywhere the people of God are, so is the Kingdom of Heaven.  Its peace, righteousness and joy are made manifest to all who come in contact with these people.  The purpose of the presence of the Kingdom in God's people is so they will be light to those in darkness, saltiness to those who do not know a covenant life with God, and a revelation of the power to overcome evil with good.  It is natural then that we seek to deliver men and women from the power of darkness of of the god of this present evil age and into the Kingdom of the Son, Jesus Christ.

We know everyone wants to know their destiny, but few know where to find it.  Everyone wants a faith in something, but many don't know where to place it.  Everyone wants a passion for living, but haven't found the reason.  The Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, is the answer.  They are one.

In the Kingdom everyone is in ministry of some kind.  Everyone can live out a new destiny.  Everyone has a place in God's plan.  Everyone has a purpose and expression for his or her faith in Christ.  But first, everyone can look to receive healing for their bodies, deliverance from the powers of demonic influence, and recovery from bondages of sin and addictions, and be conformed to the image of our Lord Jesus.  Jesus and His Kingdom can become your passion.

It is our desire to continue on the ministry of Jesus Christ.  He changed things and He changed people.  Changed people can change things.  He was obedient to the will of the Father.  We can be, too.  We can take on the same commission and in the same Spirit.  As we seek to advance His Kingdom and His righteousness, our Heavenly Father will make sure all our needs for life are met.  It is a new and wonderful way of life, free of the anxiety of this world.  We invite others to join in this life, to find their destiny, to make a difference in the earth and to live passionately until the day the Lord returns to bring the consummation of His Kingdom and ultimate reign over all the Kingdoms of the world.

 

What We Believe

God's love is the fundamental basis of our church. We thank Him for Jesus' shed blood which provided forgiveness of sins and began the new covenant (New Testament) with God.

We believe in Jesus' substitutionary death, burial and resurrection.

Spiritual rebirth enables us to see God's Kingdom and enter it.  The rebirth has transforming powers that can renew us in spirit, soul and body, recreating us to be the people that God intended.

God has a triune nature, manifested as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus, the Son, is fully God but emptied Himself of certain divine attributes to be incarnated as a man, fully experiencing human pain and even death on the cross. Yet, Jesus never lost His equality with the Godhead.

The Holy Spirit has been given to us to reveal the nature of Jesus and minister His love for us. Holy Spirit changes us for the better, empowers us, teaches us, guides us, and comforts us. Holy Spirit is continuing the mission of Christ in the world through the active ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11,12).

The Bible is our source for understanding God and His plan for mankind. God is infallible and not hampered by fallible men who recorded and translated the Scriptures. God reveals His word understandable in our hearts and minds.

We look forward for the promised return of Jesus Christ, when He will bring reward and judgment to the world. Hence, we joyfully share the good news of His Kingdom here on earth.
